Great Food - Music - Fun!!!! McPherson’s Bar & Grill will hold it’s 7th Annual “Luau For ALS” on Sunday June 3rd from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. There will be pork plates for sale, raffle, a live auction and live entertainment by the Wishful Thinking band. Last year the Luau raised almost $10,0000 for ALS!! |

“About eight and a half years ago we were made aware that a regular patron of ours, Frank Chandler, had acquired ALS. Frank was a great family man as well as an outstanding member of our community. Frank lost his battle with ALS and the entire staff and patrons of our establishment miss him dearly.” -Steve Tripp (Owner of McPherson's Bar & Grill) Each year for the past nine years, McPherson’s has thrown a Summer Luau. Because Frank loved the Luau so much, the staff, and the patrons thought that they should hold the event each year in honor of him and the proceeds benefit The ALS Association. As you can imagine, an event like this takes a lot of planning and there are many people that work very hard to make it successful. One of these dedicated individuals was Ron Leroux. Sadly, Ron lost a hard fought battle with cancer in early April 2007. Like Frank, Ron was a regular fixture at McPherson's and will be sorely missed by all. His wife Joanne continues to support this event to honor Frank and her husband Ron. |
