The 2007 Field of Dreams Gala honoring Ron Francis and his wife Mary Lou has been cancelled. Unexpectedly, the RBC Center booked a concert on our date and we were unable to find a suitable location on such short notice. We will post more details as they become available, for questions please contact Megan Gardner.

Field of Dreams Gala

New Theme: "Dancing with the Celebrities!"

Our signature event is the annual Field of Dreams Black Tie Gala where we honor those dedicated to helping others.

Our guest list includes corporate leaders, celebrities and many friends dedicated to our cause. The Field of Dreams Gala is a wonderful opportunity for patients, caregivers, sponsors and the whole community to come together to raise money and awareness for ALS.

The evening begins with a silent auction and includes outstanding items to bid on. In the past, some of the most popular items included a Curt Schilling World Series Baseball, tickets to the World Series and gift certificates to area businesses. Also, individuals who actively take part in helping to find a cure are also honored at this event with such awards as the ALSA Advocate Award and the Lou Gehrig/Jim “Catfish” Hunter Humanitarian Awards.

Past guest celebrities of the event have included Curt Schilling, Cal Ripken Jr., Dean Smith, Gaylord Perry, Bobby Richardson, Trot Nixon, Bucky Waters, and Tommy John.
