Follow PALS Steve Smith as his Home Goes High Tech!

(An effort to integrate the latest augmentative communication technology with home automation)

Steve Smith (diagnosed with ALS in 2000) has worked in the upscale home automation industry for many years and the industry is really stepping up to the plate for him.  They are putting together the best technology available to them to make his home as accessible as possible.

We invite you to check back often to monitor the progress. Simply follow the link above, you can read all about the project and even view video diaries. Steve's dear friend Tony Stewart (not the Nascar driver), is orchestrating the project which involves so many caring people.

This project is an incredible opportunity to demonstrate to the ALS and paralyzed world just what can be accomplished using the technology available today. We wish Steve and everyone involved the best of luck!
