May is ALS Awareness Month
May is National ALS Awareness month. This is the time for the ALS community to raise awareness about this disease and to educate our government on the needs of ALS patients and their families. Since our Chapter was founded in 1987, we have worked extremely hard to live up to our mission to find a cure for and improve living with ALS. The ALS Association - Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter is now seeking your help in one of our most important ventures — advocacy. We need advocates who are ready to join in the fight for a cure and improve patient services.
