BE A PART OF A POTENTIAL RECORD-BREAKING EVENT When Lauri & Dennis Pistolis found out that one of their dearest friends had been diagnosed with ALS, they wanted to do something more than provide moral support. They decided to use their Horse farm, Fantasia Farms, Inc. (founded in 1994) for a fun filled family day and raise money for ALS, while bringing a greater level of awareness to a disease that the public knows little about. “Family Fun Day at Fantasia” is now in it’s sixth year. This year, they have applied to beat the Guinness World Book of Records "Worlds Largest Hayride" in order to motivate attendance and increase media coverage!
“Fantasia Farms was built on an idea, a dream and a fantasy” said Lauri Pistolis, farm owner and horse trainer. “At this point, nothing can be taken for granted…we need a cure and Family Fun Day at Fantasia Farms is our small attempt to help in a seemingly hopeless situation” further said Pistolis. The event is open to the public and includes pony rides, hay rides, face painting, great food as well as an up close look at the boarding and breeding activities of the Horse Farm. For a $20.00 donation a family receives five tickets, and a ticket can be used for each activity including lunch, pony rides, hayrides, etc. The entertainment and fun including Raffles for prizes, free gifts and much more go on throughout the day from 10am to 3pm.
